Welcome to Farmer Jones Jewelry Co!  My name is Kristen and I am the one woman show behind Farmer Jones Jewelry. 

I grew up by the beach and find myself there almost daily to either surf, swim, or dip my toes in the sand and feel the salty, fresh air. Often times after a winter storm or busy summer weekend at the beach I find a plethora of garbage littering our shorelines.  Not all of it is directly "left" there by beach-goers per say, but washes up from near and far when the winds and swell are just right.

Since i have found so much garbage on my beach walks and surf checks, i tend to live by the golden rule: take 3 for the sea!

Every time you leave the beach, make sure to carry whatever "trash" you brought in and pickup 3 additional pieces for the sea! Amongst the garbage I sometimes find sea glass and shells.  Over the years I have acquired quite the collection. One beach clean up lead to the next and I created Farmer Jones Jewelry Co.  What started out as a creative outlet, teaching myself to wire-wrap and making jewelry for friends and family and quickly grew into a passion project of self-taught metalsmithing and an ever-evolving dream of owning my own business and supporting myself while making a positive impact on the environment.
